Stone Technologies Expands Staff Once Again

Stone Technologies is pleased to announce the addition of Wendy Armel and Sean Brennan to its staff.

Wendy Armel

Wendy Armel joins Stone as a Senior MES/MOM Engineer to the StoneTek Information Systems Group. Her background and experience in design, development, and project execution for MES/MOM solutions, especially OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), adds to the broad depth of Stone’s engineering staff.  She has over 14 years in the information technology field with a strong background in manufacturing. 

During her career she has worked closely with clients including PepsiCo, Johnson Controls, George Weston Bakeries, Gonnella Frozen Products and ACH Foods providing OEE and historian solutions.  These projects have ranged from single line to comprehensive multi site implementations.  Project scope typically included upfront specification/scope development, Architecture Design, System Configuration, Custom Report Development, and Systems Acceptance Testing (SAT)

A resident of Tampa, Florida, Wendy earned a BS in Computer Information Systems and a Masters in Business Administration from Robert Morris University.  Wendy enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs enjoying the outdoors.

Sean Brennan

Sean Brennan joins Stone as Senior MES/MOM Engineer. His background and experience in manufacturing and batch execution systems, data modeling, reporting and software design adds to the broad depth of Stone’s engineering staff. 

Sean has worked over 16 years in the industrial automation field with a strong technical background in control system integration, batch processing, and MES/MOM for the Chemical, Food & Beverage, Manufacturing, and Pharmaceutical industries.  He serves as a voting member of the ISA S88 Standards Committee on Batch Processing.

Sean spent the past 12 years at Invensys-Wonderware where he served in several roles including Product Manager for InBatch™, Wonderware’s Flexible Batch Management System.  During his career he has worked on many MES/MOM and Batch projects for customers such as Unilever, Upjohn, Colgate-Palmolive, Genentech, Nestlé, Johnson & Johnson, Nabisco, South African Breweries, Proctor & Gamble, and Pfizer.

A resident of York, Pennsylvania, Sean earned a BS in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Physics from the University of Delaware.  Sean enjoys spending time with his wife and four children and coaching boy’s lacrosse.
