Stone Technolgies is pleased to announce the addition of John Baute, Eric Lyons, Matt Meiser, and Dave Scheman to its staff.
John Baute joins Stone as a Systems Engineer. His knowledge of data bases, manufacturing, and industrial automation adds to the ever-increasing depth of the Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES/MOM) capabilities of StoneTek Information Systems in the Atlanta, Georgia area.
John has over twelve years of experience in manufacturing and has spent the past five years architecting, designing, and implementing MES/MOM solutions. He has implemented work-in process (WIP), Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), production reporting, quality, ERP interfaces, downtime data collection and monitoring systems.
He has delivered these systems to the discrete manufacturing, food, and consumer products industries. His technical capabilities include MSSQL Server Reporting Services, .NET, Visual Basic, RFID bar code based tracking, and HMI software development. John is experienced with GE’s Plant Applications MES/MOM solutions and is a Wonderware Certified Developer.
John earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia. He is married and lives near Atlanta, Georgia with his wife. In his spare time, John is a private pilot and enjoys traveling to Virginia Tech football games each fall.
Matt Meiser joins Stone as a Senior Systems Engineer. His knowledge of Microsoft .NET programming, database design and development, and industrial automation adds to the ever-increasing depth of the Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES/MOM) capabilities of StoneTek Information Systems.
Matt has over ten years of experience with industrial software design, development, implementation and support. Matt recently led a team to develop a downtime and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) reporting solution for a plastic container manufacturer. In addition, Matt has implemented traceability, production reporting, quality, ERP interfaces downtime data collection and monitoring systems. He has delivered these systems to the automotive, chemical, and water/wastewater industries. His technical capabilities include Microsoft SQL Server, Reporting Services, and .NET programming, as well as Wonderware InTouch, Historian and Industrial Application Server. Matt is a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer and a Wonderware Certified Developer.
Matt earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Indiana. He is married and lives in Ida, Michigan with his wife and daughter. In his spare time, Matt enjoys woodworking and metalworking.
Dave Scheman joins Stone as a Senior Systems Engineer. His knowledge of historical data collection and reporting, downtime, batch management, PLC/HMI systems, in addition to other real-time integration applications adds to the ever-increasing depth at Stone.
Dave has worked over twelve years with industrial automation primarily in the brewing, packaging, water and waste water, consumer goods, and industrial lubricants industries. His experience includes software development and implementation, control system design and specification, systems administration, training and emergency support.
Dave has worked closely with clients including Anheuser-Busch, Missouri-American Water, Procter & Gamble, Conoco-Phillips providing solutions that have included Allen-Bradley and Modicon PLCs, operator interfaces from Wonderware, Iconics, FactoryLink and Rockwell Software, batching systems using RSBatch, as well as many custom-designed applications using Microsoft’s Visual Basic, Access and SQL Server products. He most recently led a project team to replace the SCADA system for the entire St. Louis County water treatment and distribution utility.
As a resident of Webster Groves, Missouri, Dave earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri at Rolla and is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. Dave enjoys spending time with his wife and playing hockey and baseball with his 6-year-old son.
