Stone Technologies is pleased to announce the addition of Jason Julien as a Controls Engineer II. His background and experience in control systems programming and data collection will be a strong addition to Stone’s engineering staff.
Jason worked in the paper and pulp industry out of college supporting life cycle maximization initiatives/projects and 24/7 operations of paper converting machines and packaging systems. His recent experience has been in the rolled film industry installing, updating and troubleshooting the controls system as well as integrating plant floor operations with the ERP and MES systems.
Jason has a strong background in PLC and HMI programming, IT support, data collection, network design and operations support. He has filled the role of Project Engineer, Network Admin, PI Historian & VantagePoint admin and Electrical Engineer at various points in his career. He has held lead roles in projects and has been the change agent to drive cross functional company improvement initiatives. Jason hopes to further his career growth at Stone through a focus in automation controls and data collection & reporting.
Jason is a resident of Waukesha, Wisconsin where he resides with his wife and close family. He enjoys spending time with family, playing hockey and tinkering around with any type of electronic gadget, quadcopters, Arduino devices, etc…
